Highlights from the Gopher Invitational
The boy’s and girl’s 4x800m teams took 5th place at the Gopher Invite at Glen Burnie HS. Josephine Gessner finished 7th in the high jump, and Keegan Slonski took first with a jump of 6’2”. Teagan Bandholz finished first in the discus and shot put with marks of 128’03” and 42’06”.
Andrea Barillas finished 3rd in 78’10”. Brynn Congdon won and set the school pole vault record with a vault of 10’06”. Keegan Slonski set a school record in the 300m hurdles with 39:32. Isaiah Valmonte placed 2nd in the discus with a throw of 126’05” and 8th in the shot put with a throw of 39’02”.
Keegan Slonski won the 110m high hurdles in 15.61 and Timi Adeoye took 3rd.Claire Main took 3rd in the 1600m with a time of 5:44 Henry Partain and Keaton Troutead finished 7th and 8th in the 1600m in 4:54. Bhavya Chidambaranatham finished 4th in the 3200m in 13:14 and Sam Ross finished 7th in 12:03.
